Tastes Like Food

In celebration of my birthday today, I went to my favorite breakfast place in Denver: Lucile’s.

It’s a creole-style breakfast and lunch place, with just a very few locations in Colorado. All their breakfasts are delicious. This morning I had Eggs Eisenhower: bacon, eggs, potatoes, and a biscuit with the fabulous strawberry rhubarb jam. And three cups of the hot spice tea. Yum. Since it was my birthday, my breakfast was served on the special birthday plate. And as my favorite server Jen said, there’s only one plate, so you have to be lucky (or first) to get the birthday plate.
