Recently, I made a flourless chocolate cake that called for egg whites. I set aside the yolks in the fridge and wondered what to do with them… Ultimately, I fried them up in the skillet after cooking a few strips of bacon for breakfast and made a yolk-omelet for our dog. I didn’t give her all the yolks at once; I crumpled up about two yolks worth on top of her kibble. This is definitely not the only thing to do with left over egg yolks, but it seemed the easiest. Here are some other ideas if you’re looking for a way to not waste your egg yolks:
- creme brulee
- aioli
- home made mayo
- hollandaise
- some cakes call for only egg yolks
Please add other suggestions if you have them!

Just give them to the dog raw, she’ll love you for it. She’ll also enjoy a nice coat if you mix in a touch of olive oil.
