Easy to make and flavorful.

Easy Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/3 lemon
  • 1 15 oz can of garbanzo beans
  • olive oil
  • salt

Directions:

  1. Remove garlic skin.
  2. Add garlic, splash or three of olive oil and beans to food processor.
  3. Squeeze lemon juice out of lemon and add to processor.
  4. Puree.
  5. Add more oil if needed, scraping off food processor sides to make sure all the beans and garlic are pureed.
  6. Add salt to taste.

Serve with warmed slice pita bread or quartered carrots.

Nope. But the hummus is pretty potent.

Someone had some that I made, and these were her comments: “I had to use Listerine like twice to get the garlic taste out of my mouth… But I want to eat some more right now.”

To sum up: don’t eat this just before a job interview or date.
