Tastes Like Food

Boy oh boy, what a treat! My eyes lit up when I saw this- cake typography!? I wish I had thought of this before, too many birthday’s have come and gone without my name spelled out in cake! So ok, I’ll get to the point- this isn’t really cake, it’s actually a CD cover I spotted while strolling through a music store the other day. Neat, huh? But! What makes it even better, is that all profits from the CD will go to support Oxfams Make Trade Fair campaign:

“Fair Trade is a growing, international movement which ensures that producers in poor countries get a fair deal. This means a fair price for their goods (one that covers the cost of production and guarantees a living income), long-term contracts which provide real security; and for many, support to gain the knowledge and skills that they need to develop their businesses and increase sales.”

The website: http://www.thecakesale.com/index.htm even has tips and recipes for baking using fairtrade. And with that said, maybe tonight you should think about having your dessert first!
