If I have it my way, weekends revolve around food — where to eat, what to shop for, what to make. I always say that I’d make a happy fat person. And with this dinner, you’ll see why. I wish I could find my camera. The phone just doesn’t do it justice.
caesar dressing: put this in a blender - 1/4 c. mayo, 2 cloves pressed garlic,1 t . anchovy paste, 2 T olive oil, 1-2 T. lemon juice, 1 t. dijon mustard, 1 t. worcestershire. Grilled chicken on top of romaine lettuce is a tasty background for this dressing.
The fries have fresh herbs on top, and were spritzed with simple syrup just after coming out of the oil for the 2nd time. I also put a dash of chili powder and parmesan on them.
The strudel is filled with apples, brown sugar, walnuts, currents. The dough was made in a bread machine.
